98 Metro- No Fire

My problem is the same as "coopdavilliage" no fire coming out to the coil. Everythging has been replaced from the coil, crank sensor, cam sensor and the computer. I posted this a few months ago and got no feedback. Was scanning and read coopdavilliage's post and his problem was exactly like mine. No fire coming to the coil. Can anyone advise me as to where this 20amp fuse is in the fuse box and also what wires and their colors that I should pay attention to. Was going to junk the car but I will give it another try.

Hello,

Please forgive me as this might ramble, but let me try to help.

Knowing what we've replaced then we can rule them out. So now what is needed is verify whats left.

So what size engine is yours? Is it multi-port fuel injection or throttlebody injected? And when you say computer, are you refering to the Ignition control Module or the ECM?

I would first verify that you have 12V to the "+" of the coil but using another grounding location for the "-". Got Volts? No? Do all of the dash lights illuminate like they should in the "on" position? If not check the ignition switch itself. If you provide accurate engine information I will be more accurate.

Funny, before I owned a metro I thought the only engine was the 3 squirrel power, single injector, half 6. Boy was I shocked to learn otherwise.

Cheers,
Blake
