question about interior colors

I'm thinking about redoing the whole interior on my 93 318is because is not leather and the cloth seats are in very bad shape, the door panels and rear side panels are damaged as well, apparently the previous owner didn't took very good care of this car, what a shame! But the interior is gray and I'm having a hell of a hard time finding parts that match the same color of my interior and I was wondering if anyone can tell if there's any difference between the gray on 92-95 models and later models or if the gray on cloth interiors is different from the gray on leather interiors because all the gray parts I keep finding on Ebay look a lot darker than those on my car and I'm not sure if this is because they are of a different tone or because they come off a leather interior.

thanks in advance
