Re: No Downpipe.

a turbo car does not need exhaust, no back pressure. It will not hurt your car or turbo by unhooking it at the turbo.

Re: No Downpipe.

Running header out on a NT is going to be LOUD as will running turbo out on a turbo car, just remember that. Mike had his car running out the down pipe for a while, people on the street would seriously look up for a plane. It was funny as hell when they looked at his car and realised it was him.

Re: No Downpipe.

You might run nto things melting and the car overheating, right now (well here its like 25) you might be able to get away with it for a while. Anoter problem is the noise you will surely get pulled over by every cop in a five mile radius. Just out of curiosity why do you want to do that?

What he said. And it'll make your engine bay dirty as fuck. No true performance loss.

I tried somewhat of that(just downpipe) and it was ungodly loud. Sounded like an 18 wheeler no joke. I'm thinking about doing side exit exhaust now

Now i have to kill aarons family.

On my talon i had the external wastegate dumping about a foot off the manifold and it sounded sweet.

Re: No Downpipe.

won't hurt your car....but will attract lots of attention from cops...Probably easier to just go with a 3" turboback with no cat...

Just the turbo and nothing else would seriously be insanely loud. You probably wouldn't even be able to hear after 10 min. of driving. The catless exhaust sounds beautiful on these cars so just leave it at that.

Yes, you can start it. Make sure there's nothing hanging in front of it to melt or catch on fire

It's good advice to pay attention. The first time around I put my cat on the wrong way. You didn't just hear that.

Loeman, your quote is great.
