Fan Speeds?

I remember reading this somewhere on here before, but i cant find it so im asking. My fan speed(for climate control, dont really know what its called) only works on the 2 highest settings, insted of all 4. Anyone know why?

its either your switch, or a resistor that has to do with the switch, i cant for the life of me remember the exact term used for that resistor though

haha yeah i have a 99 cav and mine only works on the first, third, and forth. don't ask why?
