HEATER a/c / LIGHT PROBLEM

2000 GRAND PRIX Blower doesn't work. This car has standard system, not automatic. When the switch is moved to any speed from off position, daytime running lights go off. Rear defroster switch doesnt work either. Already changed BCM with no luck. Occasionally when you get in the car and try the blower, it will work on high for a few minutes. All fuses are good under hood and in car.
Please help me!

Re: HEATER a/c / LIGHT PROBLEM

The problem you are having is related to the ignition switch. You will need to have the harness replaced. This is not really a DIY job. If you want additional information search the forum for heater blower problems.

Thanks for the tip. I replaced the switch and it solved the problem. You were right, its not a DYI job, but I'm not a DYI'er...
