3.4L Intake Manifold Gaskets

Just pulled the intake manifolds off my car tonight. First time pulling my motor apart like that. What a learning experience!
Anyway the question is: the pushrods are routed THROUGH the lower intake manifold gaskets. How the hell do I change the gaskets? Do I have to pull the pushrods first?
And since we're here, is there anything I should be looking for or could do while I have her opened up like this?
Thanks alot

BTW,
I'm using the Fel-Pro gasket set. Are a lot of these just not used for the 3.4? Also, which if any of the throttle body gaskets am I supposed to use? None of them look like what's on the car!

Oh yeah man, the fun ain't over yet. You still gotta take off your valve covers so you can get to your rockers. Then take those off so you can pull out your pushrods. It shouldn't take you too long.

Re: 3.4L Intake Manifold Gaskets

Right on... since I kinda know what I'm doing now, might do that later on.
Thanks for the input

Now, speaking of port / polish, what's the recommended method for a DIY'er?
