(wip) Not Another Civic!!

yup. oh well.
here are some progress pictures. i dont usually post work in progress threads because i take so long to make them but in this case i need advice so i thought id make one anyways

i have a problem with filling in the 2 spoiler holes in the trunk. can anyone give me ideas on how to fill it so then when sanding it doenst start to sink back down? ive tried everything but it doesnt seem to work. ive tried gluing the putty from the underside but it doenst work either

anyways, some pictures:
i was originally gonna use the rims from the hatchback civic but they wouldnt stay on the metal rods. so i changed them to these ones. surprisingly i like the look of these rims more than the other ones
color is pearl white, waiting for the pearl clear, possibly tomorrow

thanks for all your advice in advance. i dont know how long this model will take me to finish though

Re: (wip) Not Another Civic!!

oh i forgot to add that the bonnet is cracked so when i tried cfing it it always would rip at that crack, even if i glued it to prevent it from moving. ive used up half a sheet of SMS already but all 3 times failed. does anyone have any advice on how to fix that crack?

Re: (wip) Not Another Civic!!

Glue little squares of styrene sheet under the holes, then fill.

Looks good so far. I have 2 extra hoods for this car (the clear one, right?) so if you want one, holler. What color do you think you'll paint it?

Good luck!

Nonetheless, looks great already. Looking foward in seeing this with a pearl coat.
