97 ram 1500 headlight problem
my headlight switch has been acting up when I turn up the dash lights.
Last night the headlights went out when I turned the dash lights up.
I replaced the switch and I still have no headlights. I have all other lights including rear lights. On the previous switch the plastic was melted on the harness where it plugs into the switch on the green wire. Also, before replacing the switch, the headlights (hi beam only) would come on when I manually held the hi beam lever in place. With the
new switch they won't even do that. Fuse is good. Before I go
pulling all the connections apart redoing my make-up and soldering,
does anyone have a clue?
