need to change my engine

i currently have a 1600cc zetec in my 1998 escort i would like to replace it with a 130bhp 1800cc zetec what will i need to accomplish this do i have to change harness, computer and gear box. i would also like to know about other changes such as braking system and any other misselanious changes

Unless you just love to do big jobs on cars why don't you consider buying another car that already has the engine you want? I'm lazy so that's what I'd do.

i always thought the 1.6/1.8 and 2.0l zetecs were the same block, cant you just change heads?

Same block doesn't mean same cylinder bore.

i think zx2srdotnet meant bore it out then change the heads still cheaper then getting a new engine id think (if it is the same block)
