Question 93 seville code problem

I recently used a code key on my cadi and it read " set timing mode ". can anybody tell me what that means. thank you

Did the code key have two projections on it on one side? You put it into the port under the dash on the driver's side? I think it may be a tool to jump the A & B connections in the diagnostic port. Most just use a bent paper clip. This is used to put the car in timing mode so you can set the base ignition timing with a timing light. Once the key is removed you are out of that mode and the comp goes back to controlling the timing as usual. No harm done.

This has obd thru the ac control panel, go to caddyinfo.com for the instructions.

If you need to access codes,you can enter the diagnostic mode by holding the climate control off &warm buttons together.
