Re: Any review of this drying booth?
I'd like to know if anyone has tried this as well?
I don't know how many times I've looked at it at HLJ?

Re: Any review of this drying booth?
Why would you need one Rob? Isn't it always perfect weather in God's country?
![]() On a serious note the cost of shipping something that large internationally would turn me right off. |

Mr.Hobby Drying Booth
Hi guys,
I imported this very booth from our distributor in Japan. I decided to use this for review to let my customers in Vancouver know whether or not its a good buy. To be honest, trying it out in the middle of summer did not really impress me much. At that time, it wasn't a necessary item to have on your workbench. It was basically a good dust cover/repellent. Heading to winter now, with a current temperature of 4 deg celsius, on a damp rainy night, it is the only way that I could think of to do my modeling at 1am. (I'm writing this between airbrush cleaning and figuring out what model to do next). The setting is fairly easy to use, turn the dial to 60 mins, and it will bake your model to a nice warm touch. I don't have the numbers to scientifically back it up, but its a good warm that helps paint dry a little faster. It won't burn your model and it won't melt it. You can arrange the drying racks to your liking to dry a variety of sizes. If anything, it adds bling to a modeler's workbench and makes me feel like a pro even though i'm not a pro. Have fun modeling, Vince |
