F'd my rim up!!!

So it snowed a few inches last night so when i got out of work i was excited and decided to go drifting... long story short it was realy slippery and i ended up sliding back left wheel into a curb, pretty hard. So now when i go over 30 mph the car shakes not to mention the huge dent in the side of the rim... im wondering where i can get a used wheel or what i should do.. oh yea and the alignment is a little off the wheel sits left a little when im goin straight

Re: F'd my rim up!!!

You probably bent the rim, thats why the car shakes at 30+mph. Try finding a rim on ebay, I see auctions all the time selling just one wheel.

Re: F'd my rim up!!!

I'd say try to find a rim local it might be a little pricey to ship it. You'll probably need an alignment when your done too.

Re: F'd my rim up!!!

Put the 18's on as a LAST TEMPORARY resort. Just go hit a junk yard man, you should be able to get a crutch wheel for pretty cheap.

Okay, right. The rim is bent. You can get it repaired, if it's a moderately expensive set, for cheaper than you could buy a new one. Most places do this. And I live in the styx.

Then get a realignment.

Since this is for your job, I'd fix it soon. Good luck.

Edit>> And stop drifting in the snow.
