Thumbs down 1 Day Paint and Body

When getting your vehicle painted and or having body work done, PAY the extra buck and DON'T GET IT DONE AT 1 Day Paint and Body. Why?
Here is a little of some of the problems you will get from them, Sanding marks showing through the paint, paint not even, large amounts of dirt in the paint and if you had any kind of stripes on your vehicle they don't even sand them even so they won't show when repainted, so you'll know right where the stripes were as you can see them through the "new" paint. And last but not least, they use paint that CAN NOT be matched, rubbed out as if you try the paint is so thin it will rub right through to the old paint. So my advice to anyone who even thinks about getting a vehicle painted at 1 Day Paint and Body GO ELSE WHERE.

Re: 1 Day Paint and Body

I agree, one day paint shops are only close to being good if you do ALL prep work necesary, including removing all the trim so they don't tape it off and paint around it. If you are going to get a car painted, shop around, and find out the exact process they go through in prep, and finish. Also check out other cars they do, and look for things like runs, rough spots, poorly taped off areas, lack of sanding, etc etc.

I disagree I have had several cars painted at One Day in San Marcos CA.
and have had exellent results I think it depends on the shop and the price you pay! I recommend this shop to several friends and everyone of them is happy
