C280 - dashboard light replace - how difficult is it?
My dashboard has a dark spot on left side. Pretty obvious it has a burnt bulb in there.
How difficult is it to change? Gold...

You need a pair or insturment cluster removal tools to pull the cluster. It's nothing more than a few pieces of spring steel with a 1/4" bend at the end. You can probably find them on e-bay or make them yourself. The cluster is kind of tricky to pull and it's not beyond even a expierenced tech to crack the dash getting the cluster out. The job pays about 1 hour labor plus the bulbs, which are Mercedes specific..no getting these at Advance. My advice is to have them replaced the next time your car is at the dealer(and look at your dash real close when you get it back to make sure they didn't break anything)
