Question airbrush and compressor???????

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...%2Btanning.htm

ive been looking at these for a while and wondered wether it would be sufficient for spraying 1/24 cars, the airbrush looks kind of cheap, but the compressor doesnt look too bad. let me know what you think guys

Re: Re: airbrush and compressor???????

Yeah, I'd be weary. . .

First off, it probably doesn't have a moisture trap. Secondly, I think those tanning compressors are a "Pulse" type and gettin a good flow would be pretty hard.

Surely you can find something better for that kind of money, no?

Worth a try though . . .

Re: airbrush and compressor???????

Wouldn't recommend it. For a start it looks plastic so may not be built to withstand stronger solvents. For 60 GBP you could buy a very good airbrush and be partway to afording a compressor.

yea that thing doesn't look reliable at all for airbrushing...if u really don't want to spend alot on a compressor and airbrush...an idea would be to check out ebay, or a hobby store to see if they have places where they sell used ones...worth a shot...better then buying a tanning thing lol
