hey guys,
well im happy to see that there is a place like this with people who know what they're talking about.Ok, i have a 90 integra with 300K km's on it.It runs good and all but doesn't seem to want to start in the winter time.In nice weather, it starts up fine with no hesitation. In the cold, the engine turns over but thats all it does.I checked my computer and it gives me 2 codes.....EGR system and Fuel Supply System and when im on the highway and im givin'er, the enigine light comes on.My question is.....1)Could these codes have anything to do with my starting problems.....and 2)With these codes and my cold starting problems, what could actually be the problem..........any help here would be awesome.....Thanks!! |

Re: @#$#'n Cold Starts
i looked at the sequence of lights my computer was blinking at me...a long blink is 10 and a short one is 1...so the codes read....1 long light,2 short lights.......4 long lights,3 short lights.......code 12 and 43

Re: @#$#'n Cold Starts
well, i see what you guys are saying but i know how to read that computer....it was giving me code 12 and 4 long lights and 3 short ones????i reset mt computer now and im not getting any codes .....so we'lll see what happens, but the codes aside, my car will not start in this cold weather lately, ive been having to use quick start(ether) in the air intake and sometimes it starts..... but it usual starts on the ether but it wont keep running.....some say fuel pump and others say fuel filter.....what do yuo guys think?????i just replaced the spark plus, rotor and cap, and air filter last summer...thanks
