Heated Mirror Not Working

I have a 2002 LS and yesterday was the first frost/snow day of the year. The heated mirros turn on when the rear defrost is turned on. I noticed that the driver side mirror was clean withinn 10 minutes but the passenger side mirror still had snow and ice - even after over 30 minutes. I'm wondering if anyone here has any experince with this system? I checked out Haynes manuals to get the wiring diagram but they only have until 2001. Any help is appreciated.
