Need help finding vacuum switch

I have read all the postings that relate to replacing a vacuum switch and I still cannot find it on the transfer case. I have a 99 Blazer LS 4.3. Most of the posting say to follow the front drive shaft back and the vacuum switch will be on top of the transfer case. I have done this and I still cannot see or feel anything that would resemble the vacuum switch. I found a picture of the transfer case in my Chiltons manual and it looks like the switch is to the left of the front drive shaft. If this is the case, it looks like the shift motor is blocking access to the vacuum switch. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Do I need to remove any components to get access to the vacuum switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need to get my 4WD back online before the winter gets any worse.

Re: Need help finding vacuum switch

The switch is indeed on top of the transfer case... You will see 3 hoses going into it... Simply get your arm up there with a box wrench to get it off.

This is a picture of the switch....
