The starting kit it’s Tamiya 206 wrc with the CB-COM transkit+decal. Wheels is from Racing 43.

Hi,

looks interesting. I think your decision is right to use ohter wheels with rubber/vinyl tires.

I´m looking forward to see some progress pics, have a good start

Re: Peugeot 206 super 1600

looking forward to following this one, just ordered myself one of these transkits last week.

I have used CB COMs decals before and they arent the best but they do allow subjects that others dont offer, never used their resin tho.

The 206 1600 was a very cool car, surprised no one else ever did a kit for it

Wow, cb-com TK...
good luck !! you'll need a lot of courage !!
everyone can judge the bad quality of these products, especially the decals !! (black frames under white letters... and color frames under each letters in general, and moreover the bad color 90% of the times).
And I notice that for this kit (1/24 !!!!??) he didn't judge necessary to open the big air intake of the spoiler...
cb-com is going worst and worst each day !!
his favorite answer is "no matter, I sell" !! what a professionnal way ot thinking !! I renounced a few years ago to buy even 1 item to this bad man making bad product !!
problem is that he's the only one making some kits (and he knows that very well !! )
humm I should forget this man, I am not here to say bad words on him, especially that french brands use to be good most of the time.
I will appreciate to see how you will turn it into a nice model (you've already chosen to change the wheels, no doubt you will !!!)

Re: Peugeot 206 super 1600

I too wish you luck with the CBCom decals. Hopefully they've improved since I ordered some a few years back, (although Rallymaster seems to indicate otherwise). Back then they were a complete waste of money. But if you want to build a 206 1600 there is no alternative. Again good luck, please keep us posted!
