Re: sr20de to sr20det

head gasket is different from NA SR to T SR, bcus in the turbo SR, the gasket is way stronger and it will drop the compresion a bit (like the HKS gasket i have in my motor)
everything else in what u listed is the same.

Re: sr20de to sr20det

Sure, knock yourself out. But if I recall correctly, turbo and NA cams have different grinds and an NA SR doesn't have a downpipe.

Re: sr20de to sr20det

how about you save some money for the car itself before you think about mods. if shit goes wrong and you can't buy the car then you'll be mighty disappointed that you have no car to put an exhaust on

Plus licensing, registration, little things here and there. Ive so far spent about 600$ on licensing, parts, and everything to get mine running the way i like. And i should have had about 2k$ for mods, but shit happens and i now have about 700$ in the bank and about 350$ cash in my room. I got jipped..

Man not driving your car is friggin hard, I rode my bike to work for 8 months so I could save up to get my 240 and I had it garaged for 3 weeks while I worked on the engine. That was the longest 3 weeks of my life. Plus after registration you have insurance, gas, misc crud like my magic dome light. Plus i'm assuming by your sig you want to learn to drift it, just face it man your going to be buying tires more often than you'd want to (the tires that came on my car only lasted 3 days after I got it all legal). Plus before you work on the engine you should go for suspension or a lsd (you'll hate being a one wheeled wounder).
