19" Rims Need HELP!!!

Whats up guys, I have a question that i would like you to answer realistically, I might be buying 19inch 215/35 rims for my 99 Si civic.

I know that itll be slower than any car on the road, unsprung weight, affects everything, ride will not be comfortable and lots of negatives.

BUT is it doable?? DO i need modifications? Will it RUB? Is there a way to solve the rubbing, such a modification?

For reasons other than practicality, performance, confort (which are the most important) I want to do put these rims on my car.

Can you help me out?
Thanks a lot.
MexSIR.

Try tirerack.com, u can size rims and tires for your car to make sure. I think 19's will fit, but those will be some really thin tires.

you'll have to roll the fenders and trim some of the splash guard in the fenders off. Other than that it is doable. Why the hell are you putting 19s on your car again? And are you still in the great white north or back in paradise down south?

Hahahaha....im going back to live to Mexico, no more Vancouver Canada. There is a very good deal from a friend, 5 set 19 inch Rota rims, with new 215 / 35 Z rated proxy tires for 1000 dollars. So wanna get that and drive HELLA slow. hahha

i had 19" spider axis wheels on my civic w/ a 2" drop and they fit just fine. no cutting required, however the ride was horrible and the only sacrifice i gave was my turning radius, i could not turn all the way, however i could still make a u-turn. also pulling in and out of driveways was a bitch, the tires would rub then.

thats why you roll the fenders and cut out some of the splash guard, so you don't rub
