Trailer hitch 4runner to Tacoma???

Hey does anyone know if the 4runner Factory trailer hitch will bolt onto the tacoma frame?

According to Draw-Tite they do not interchange. I checked for 2004, you didn't say what year.
You can check in related links in this forum, select your year and model for the Tacoma, record the part number. Do the same for the 4 Runner, if the part numbers aren't the same they will not interchange. You may be able to make them work by doing some drilling, welding or fabricating, not recommended unless you are experienced with trailer hitch installation.

I see you asked about a factory hitch, I assume the same answer would apply as Toyota probably has one of the major hitch suppliers build their hitches. Ask your Toyota dealer parts about interchange.
