master cylinder or brake booster?

I heard this on another forum When I press brake pedal with engine off pedal stays up when i strat engine pedal goes to floor with a hissing sound is the the power booster fail out?

I would say break booster, but look at the master cylinder and see if it is leaking and if not it is probly the booster.be for you buy one try bleeding your breaks one more time. Because it would suck if it is just air.

I drain the ole system and put new oil in it and assure you that no bubble left in it.

I can get a booster at scap yard for 40$ cheap and garantee hope evrything gonna be alright thats a big job I know heheh..
