2002 Blinker Problem...

Guys, my friend has a 2002 Conti and the blinker is getting stuck and hard to move up and down. I'm assuming it's the "turn signal switch", but never replaced one on a Lincoln. If it is the switch...does this require any special tools? I've done many GM switches and all you had to do was disconnect the air bag, remove steering wheel,(I have the lock ring compressor tool), and take out the switch. Is this a similar job? Any help or input is appreciated.

Can't say for sure on the 2002 however, if you're PC savey w/ a hispeed ISP you can get a copy of the factory service manual online at http://fordcds.com/ , burn your own CD, and look it up

He takes donations too
