Power steering pump is noisy
Well it had been slowly getting louder in the last several months on my 96 tacoma 4x4 with 188k on it. I checked the resivoir and it was somewhat dirty compared to the nice red color I like to see. I drained the resivoir several time running it for one day in between, after the 4th time of puting new fliud in the color was finally nice and clean and the noise was gone and it steers like new again. I hope I pulled this off but will wait and see. If I did, then I saved my self alot of trouble replaing the entire pump for about 250 bucks.
