i was told by some people that i know that there is a 2.5L V6 made by mazda (160hp) that would fit right in with out to many problems. has any one out there heard any thing about this or have a better idea for an engine swap.

im not sure if it is the same engine as the V6 that is in the mazda 626 witch is a 2.5 as well but if it is it is only 160

forget v6, use a BPT 180hp 1.8l turbo

the 2.5 i do believe is rated between 164 and 195 depending on what car it's in the Probe GT and MX6 were rated at the 164 with the SVT Contour putting down the 195 i have herd of engine swaps with the 1.8 turbo as well, but they swapped it into a Festiva (Sport Compact Car "Project Fastiva")

the 1.8T is that a mod or a new engine because if it is a mod i dont think that would be the best bet because i have 187000 on my engine and i dont think that it would hold up with out replacing all the internals
also does any one know the engine codes for all those modles |
