Engine wire harness problem

i've just finished my swap, i took out a D16Z6 and dropped in a JDM D15B Vtec, everything was a simple bolt on except for the engine wire harness. What can i do if i dont succeed in getting one can i use the D16 harness and modify it or do really need one from a 5th Gen. civic Vtec?

Re: Engine wire harness problem

i believe the z6 harness runs a 4 wire o2 sensor as the jdm d15b runs a 1 wire o2 sensor, other than that, the z6 should be fine. as for not running with the z6 harness, all you should have to do is run two wires for vtec.

Re: Engine wire harness problem

ok, but the Z6 is non fuel injected, how do you use that harness with a fuel injected engine?

Re: Engine wire harness problem

o it aint fun i have done that once or twice. just run four new wires from the fuel injectors to the wires on the ecu. make sure you use the book. but the wires on the ecu read 1-whatever from left to right not up/down up/down
