2001 MC Dash Lights are Out

My 2001 MC's dash lights only work when the headlights are off during the day. When the day running lights are on, the milage, radio and other dash lights are bright and visible. When it switches to night and the headlights come on, the dash lights are very dim, almost too dim to even make out.

Any suggestions?

Mine do the same, but there is a circle on the right side of the sterring column. If I turn that it usually brightens them back up. See if that helps.

did you try to turn the light nob to the right and left

mine recently started doing this also. Turning the dimmer switch has no effect.
