Which REAL coilover setup?

Having a debate with a friend...

Tein or Tanabe for a coilover setup? (same compareable models -- say the lowest SS class)

Thoughts, comments?

tanabe uses the KYB AGX series struts as the main component in their Pro-SS coilovers. they are not rebuildable or revalveable. if they blow, they're replaced on a one for one basis.

the Tein HA's are comparable in price, and are fully rebuildable and revalveable, saving on costs should one blow out. they also feature 16-22 way adjustability, compared to the 5-8 way adjustability of the Tanabes.

imo, get the Teins... the HA's, since they're $1000 a set.

Damn yo the HA's are only $1090 MSRP? I wish that electric control module would work on the civic but it wont

But I already made up my mind that this is $1000 towards the turbo setup... so just going to go with a basic coilover/shock setup (still decent like $400 range) and drop $600 towards the turbo kit... since im not racing the shit on a track anyways I dont think it truely matters that I have $1100 suspension crap seeing as here no one knows the differance between a shock and sticking their finger in the light socket

I always wondered about what happens when the shocks go. What other full coilover kits have rebuildable shocks? Would my APEXi WS's fit into that category, or must they be replaced on a one for one basis as well?
