greetings, fellows..
just realized today while driving on the road and one of my h4 light bulbs doesn't work in Low beam, but okay in High. so i just pulled it out and didn't bother much to check my car wiring, because it is too dark to see anything right now. for some reason i have an ohm meter in my house so i tried to play with it. so....where do i check for continuity? there are 3 terminals at the end. i believe that the housing itself is grounded to car. i had one lead of the meter on the housing, and the other touching 3 terminals-- one at a time, but shows no continuity!! howcome? the High works, but not the Low.??? peace, |

Re: how to check a h4 light bulb with an ohm meter
One of the leads will be common to both high and low. Should be able to see connections and if filament is broken,

Re: how to check a h4 light bulb with an ohm meter
it seems your bulb has a case of Blown-Filamentous Low-Beamous.... put it out of its misery and buy a new bulb.. (the low beam filament is blown, replace the bulb)
