Ebay intake and header?
Anybody got any comments about intakes and headers off of ebay? Any luck with the cheaper stuff? Just trying to get a little more out of the car without spending a lot. 1988 civic lx with auto. Thanks

The intakes are pretty much the same. The filter is what makes the most difference. As far as the headers, I have heard nothing but good things about the Megan Racing headers.

i have an "HP Racing" header from ebay i havent had problems with. ive had it for atleast 2 yrs now, its rusty but still welded. GL

i have an ebay cold air intake on my car. i seemed to get a good gain above stock, i have a 2.5 inch exhaust...so my exhaust is loud, but at low rpms, i can still hear the nice intake sound. bought mine for i think 30 bucks? piping and filter decent gain in hp and torque, and looks good too. id say go for it.

spend the extra, get what u pay for
i spent 500 cnd on an airmass header (made by holley or edelbrock or something) and there are VERY noticable gains

header is a header as long as it has nice bends and close to equal length. and always check the welds too, ebay is noturious for selling trash.
