DCL & Oil Pressure

I just bought a 1993 Continental and this looks like a common problem.
My Oil pressure drops and the DCL light comes on both causing anoying beeps. Any ideas?

I also want to take out the AM/FM Cass and replace with a AM/FM CD
Any sugestions on getting the old one out?

Re: DCL & Oil Pressure

I had to remove mine with a ford radio removal tool. If you're crafty, use a coat hanger and push in the holes, two on each side while trying to pull out the radio. Have fun!

Re: DCL & Oil Pressure

I saw a response to this same problem on an earlier post. Last night I took apart the dash and cleaned the contacts on the big connector and
it took care of both the oil pressure gage and DCL warning. The instructions were great! You do need a little paitence and small hands would be very helpful

Re: DCL & Oil Pressure

I have the same problem with my dcl and oil pressure warning. But my Speedometer also shuts off occasionally. Does yours do the same? Also occasionally when driving it feels like my ride control is messed up. Can anyone help me with this?
