Lift struts for rear window

The lift struts on my '92 Jimmy will not hold the rear window in the up position. Does anybody know a cheap fix for this or do they need to be replaced.

Re: Lift struts for rear window

Thanks for the reply. Is this a dealer item or can I get some aftermarket struts at the local parts store?
