Please Help! Gate Ajar Light Wont Go Out!

i have a 1992 buick roadmaster wagon and after installing a cd player the gate ajar light wont go out. unless you open the gate..weird? and it pops the #2 fuse i didnt cut any wires to install the cd player.. problem started when i was installing the trim.. radio was playing fine.. then , bam went off and that gate ajar light came on and it keeps poping the #2 fuse. also the automatic door locks try to lock over and over and over until you press unlock or play with the wires behide the radio...PLEASE HELP!! does anyone else have this problem???know how to fix??

to all of yall who couldnt figure it out it turned out to be a piece of metal stuck in the cigeratte lighter socket...that was causing the short.
