1993 Lebaron convertible..need a little help

Hi all, new blood here so be nice.

Have a couple of issue and would like the best way to proceed to figure them out.

1) Turn signal works in both directions but won't automatically return. Turn signal handle is on the dashboard not on the column like in other cars. Just bought the car so I don't know if this is normal, i am under the assumption it isn't. I must manually return to reset position.

2) AC and heater work but I when I select different blowing methods (feet, defrost, normal, normal + feet) there is no change in the blowing. Always blows from the same port.

Thanks in advance, can you send a copy to me at [email protected] for anything posted...thanks again

the signal is returned by a arm in the steering that reseases the lever as the steering wheel is returned to normal position. it's plastic and probably broke.

Re: 1993 Lebaron convertible..need a little help

Seeing that there isn't an answer posted here, let me offer what I did for mine. Once getting the duct panel off, I sprayed a lubricant (I prefer P'blaster) along the rods. After letting it slide in, I moved the flap/duct rods, along with the switch a few times, sprayed again & closed everything up. Smelled for a week, but worked fine.
