Question No Heat Please Read

The plug that connects to my in dash ac control has melted and according to the dealership i have to replace my main wiring harness because my tj is a 99 and the ac leg of the wiring harness is not able to be replaced. A friend told me about wiring a toggle switch in my cab that when turned on would allow my heater blower to just run in 1 speed (high), which is fine by me. I have no defrost or any thing. any ideas on how to wire in a toggle switch or fixes for this problem

haha this sounds like a job for me always "redneck rigging" stuff anyway lol ... n e way yeah find the leads to your heater motor not sure where they would be because i've not had this problem ... now go find a toggle switch and a place to mount it ... run a 16 guage wire to the hot terminal on the battery and same with the negative terminal ... then run the same type of 16 guage wire to the blower... after the wires are run hide them do whatever makes you happy and if its a 2 prong toggle switch then do 1 thing and if its a 3 prong do another

2 prong : attach the hot wire (+) from the batter to the toggle switch, then attach the other hot lead to the blower to the other prong on the switch then connect the 2 ground wires together.

3 prong : on this type of switch you have a ground prong a hot prong and an accesorie prong.
attach the hot lead from the battery to the hot prong and the hot lead from the blower to the accessory prong, the 2 grounds splice together and attach to the ground point on the switch ... hope this is what your looking for...
if you need more detail like with pictures then let me know and i'll do this myself and take pictures as i go
