'sileighty'
hey guys,
just wanting to know what is involved in converting a 180sx into a 'sileighty' with a s15 front end, does it just basically bolt on or what changes is needed for it to fit.[/b]

i pretty sure you need to buy a conversion kit for an s15 front end all i know is that s13 and 180sx bolt straight on.

it should basically bolt on. I mean the fenders and shit are a conversion piece. THe rear is made to fit right up with the s13 door and the front for s15 bumper and hood and lights.
www.jspec.com may be more expensive, but they know wtf there doing.

For the record, a true Sil-Eighty is a S13 Silvia front end on a hatch 180sx. Putting a S15 front end is considered a 15-80, or 15-Eighty.

also more commenly know as the s13.5

the Sil-Eighty was way before super street's time. The 15-80 is more like Super Street style.

ditto...s15 fronts only look good on s15's, and maybe a handful of s14's, if done right...

an S15 w/ S13 front (read twice) is extremely seksi
