Low Fuel Indicator to No Fuel Reality

I'm curious if any '05 CRV owners have ran out of gas on purpose (or not) to see the range they can drive once the Low Fuel Indicator comes on?

TIA.

Re: Low Fuel Indicator to No Fuel Reality

When the low fuel level light comes on, usually there's still a gallon or two of gas left in the tank. I did the miles/per gallon test when I had my dual tank Ranger whereby when my engine starts to starve for gas I just flip a switch and I got gas from the second tank. I wouldn't chance it to go dry on the freeway during commute.

I have drive 85 miles after the light came on and when I filled up it took a little more than 13 gallons. Not sure how much further I could have gone.
