Headlight is dim
I have a 99 cavalier that I recently have purchased. Since I've bought the car, the left headlight is dim, not out, but dim. It stays the same whether the brights are on or not. Is there a way to post a picture on here? Cause I'll take a pic and put it up if this doesn't make sense. Now I've tried to change the bulb in it, all of them actually, and I still get the same problem. IS this like a ground issue maybe? All help is appreciated. Sorry if I didn't include enough info, just ask for whatever I forgot. THANKS

headlight
pull your connector off the back of the headlight and check you resistance value, from there narrow down the circuit to find the power robbing component.

Re: Headlight is dim
You said you replaced the bulb, right? Can you check for power at the connector? You will need a multi-meter. See if you're gaetting battery voltage at the terminal. Then check the other terminal for continuity to ground.
