I read a thread on here once about this mechanics shop in GA that does engine swaps for Grand Ams and such, does anyone know what it is called and/or give me the wed addy. My friend is curious about an engine swap for his Lumina(weird...I know.). But hey...if they can swap a 3.1 for a Supercharged 3.8 for my Grand Prix....that would kick ass too!!!

Re: Looking for this place in GA...
I wonder if its the same shop I read about that does F-Body swaps. When I had my Camaro I was looking to have the 3.8 swapped for an LS1 until I found out the price was around 8-9k. I think that place was in GA.

Re: Looking for this place in GA...
Atlanta, GA. When I first asked, I was looking into slappin a 3800 S/C into my 1993 Grand Am GT Coupe. It would have been sick nasty. It had a 3300 and 4 speed auto....I wanted to see if the 3800 would bolt up to the 5 speed manual of the same year. Alas...Gunpowder had taken too much of a beating and I was already spending too much on repairs. She had 105,000 miles on it when I bought it, with about 184,000 miles on the odo when I had to let her go. Then I got my 2000 Grand Prix instead. I only paid $6,450 @ 94,000 miles. But, I'm kicking myself now for not holding out for a GTP!!lol
