p0171 and p0174 codes
I have a Saturn 2000, LS, with service engine light on. OBDII read out indicate that fuel too lean (p0171 and p0174). I have seen other sites regarding gm trucks and some others threads on this site suggesting to replace the fuel filter and oxygen sensors, but none specifically address this as a p0171 or p0174 issue.
Any recommendations to get these cleared? |

Re: p0171 and p0174 codes
I would guess it's your mass air flow sensor. MAF sensor. This part seems to be a constant problem sensor. If it's not working correctly, it will result in lean or rich conditions setting your check engine light. A MAF sensor should cost about $120 and it can be installed easily.
