I have 2 MTX 10s in my trunk.. whenever I plug in the speaker wire to the box, the subs seem to amplify the idle/rev of my engine! Anyone know why it would do that? Faulty wiring somewhere? interference? I drive an older car.. 1969 Impala.

make sure your RCA's are ran by themselves....

your RCA cables going from the cd player to the amp are routed close to a noise sorce, try rerouting them
