Purge solenoid ticking
Last night,my battery light came on on the way home.This morning,everything is fine.
The alternator is producing current,no idiot light for the battery,the only odd thing is that the purge solenoid is making a noticeable ticking.
This is a new Cherokee to me,a '96.My last two vehicles were an '89 Commanche and an '88 Cherokee,so I think this is a new part to me.
I've never noticed this noise before,but this is a recent purchase,so I haven't been under the hood much.
Could this have turned on the light?
