Just wanted to let you know that he has had these models a long time and he has plenty more fantasy ones, so if you are impressed so far you havent seen nothing yet.
I belive he has every livery ever raced + a large amount of customs.
I used to love models like these myself, but have lost the interest when I realized how easy they are to make with the right tools and they are not original pieces anyhow so incredibly enough I'm not interested anymore and will only buy original productions.
A couple of years back I would gladly pay $500 for a model like that

I'm not impressed by much of anything.
Don't care how long he's had them or how many he has done - just thought that it might be of interest to some people here who've expressed an interest in the other ones that have been posted. As a modeler myself for a good part of my life with my "product" ending up in the hands of several top drivers and one very famous team I understand how easy these are to produce given a source for the decals or the willingness to draw your own. That doesn't change the fact that there is obviously a market for these models.

You almost seem a little angry in your reply??

I was not looking down on his work or anything like that, I only point out my personal meanings about them. I can understand people willing to spend top $$ on having something others don't, but I when people pay $400+ for unoriginal releases I cannot understand it any more nowadays.
I used to buy models like these myself a few years back and had some customing skills before I made my own. When I understood how relatively easy they are to make, I stopped buying them.
Some people here will definitely appreciate seeing those models as I know for a fact many uses these forums as a source for finding rare models and also customs from time to time.
And yes, I agree there will always be a marked for special things like these models as long they are very well made and interesting for display.

No not at all, at least it was not my intention to appear that way! Please put it down to the limitations of electronic communication. If we met face to face I am sure that we would have a much better understanding!

On a side note - I recently read in an article here in the US that teenagers here now communicate more electronically (instant messenger, text messaging, etc) than they do verbally. What is the world coming to?
