Heated seat-driver's side

Lent my 02 SS to my wife while her car was in the shop now the Driver's side heated seat doesn't work. Fuse is good and the light on the switch works when turned to low or high. But no heat. Any ideas? Would the switch still light if there was a short or burned out heat element?
