'96 I30 oil light flickering on\off

To all the Infiniti gurus: my oil light came on\went off\flickered on and off, and basically became a pain...the car has 130k on it, runs like a top, doesn't seem to be running hot, not burning any oil, not losing any; this model has a history of finicky sensors and I was hoping that might be the case; any help would be exactly that...helpful...thanks

Common engine oil pressure sensor problem is that it gets plucked. Another is connector wire shorting to chassis. New costs 5$...
