I found the chime module, it's orange in colour and located under the dash to the left of the column (no surprise there... other posts indicated such). However it appears to be fastened somehow. The connector on the engine side removes easily enough but on the dash side of the box it seems to have a few connections going into it. Otherwise I might just rip it out... and place a new one elsewhere in the dash area.

How does the chime module come out?

Any help would be appreciated.
