Blower speed control

Blower/fan (for a/c, heat) will only turn on if the knob is on the highest setting. Will not work on low, medium, etc....only high speed. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Speed control is by inserting resistors into the motor circuit. So you have a bad resistor(s) or a bad switch.
