1987 blazer stalling problem
I have a 1987 blazer, its my winter beater, it has a 305 throttle body engine, auto trans and a lot of miles on it, its mostly stock accept for a custom dual exhaust.. for the most part it runs great, right up until you stop at a stoplight...it idles smooth and what not then after a while it starts to die and the check engine light comes on, my father changed the coolant sensor in it and that made the problem somewhat better, before it would stall at any stop, or after a stop if you stepped on it hard to go across the road or something it would either start to bog down or stall all togather
long story short, if I were to go out and start it, put it in drive and hold onto the break, after a min or 2 it would stall.. any ideas? thanks in advance |

Re: 1987 blazer stalling problem
Go get the codes checked to find out what the code is for.
Also, ever done a tuneup?

Re: 1987 blazer stalling problem
it had a tune up done not long before I bought it and my father went through the plugs, wires etc... to make sure they are good, we also put a code reader on it and it came up with no errors
