question about interior neon
My wife bought me some interior neon kits on clearance but I have a question. These plug into the cig. lighter but can these be modified so that they are hard wired to a 12v source and turned on with a switch?

Just cut the wires going to the plug. Find out which one is pos and which one is neg. Simply hook up the pos to the powerside of a switch and the neg to a ground.
